Deveaux International Governance Consultants has been working with UNDP to establish a Toolkit to support MPs in their role in monitoring the financing of climate change initiatives. Climate Finance refers to all funds expended in a country related, directly or indirectly, to adaptation or mitigation of the effects go climate change. The Toolkit provides a summary of the system currently being used by the Government of Nepal and suggest ways that the Parliament can perform its oversight functions to ensure the funds allocated in the Annual State Budget are effectively spent.
