DIG Consultants worked with the UNDP Country Office in Tunisia to review the organizations work with political parties in the country. Since the 2011 revolution the political environment has been dynamic. Notwithstanding the stability of Ennahda, the other political parties have been less than stable. UNDP asked a DIG Consultant to review the work of its electoral assistance project to date and to recommend how the project can engage parties in the months leading up to expected parliamentary elections. This follows up on work done by the same consultant in 2011 in Tunisia.
In June 2014, Deveaux traveled to Tunisia to evaluate the UNDP project in support of the formulation of the Tunisian constitution and support the Tunisian Constituent Assembly. As part of a three person team, he helped evaluate the impact of the support to the Assembly and the impact of the citizen participation in the drafting of the Constitution.
